Jason and Darlene were born and raised right here in Aztec. After more than 30 years in the oil and gas industry, Jason brought that same work ethic to insurance in 2023 — and in July 2025 the Lassters founded Anchorpoint to build something different: an agency that answers to its clients and its community, not a corporate quota.

Born and raised in Aztec, Jason spent more than 30 years in the oil and gas industry before becoming a licensed insurance agent in 2023. He knows the trucks, trades, homes, and businesses of San Juan County firsthand — and he brings an oilfield work ethic to finding the right coverage for his neighbors.

Darlene grew up in Aztec and co-founded Anchorpoint with Jason in 2025. She's the one clients call when they need answers fast — known for chasing down carriers, walking families through their options in plain English, and treating every policyholder like a neighbor, because they are.
